Uploading your SD card

Where is the SD card, and can I take it out?

The card is usually in the side of your machine. Take it out when the machine is not running therapy. If you are not sure, check your machine's manual.

What do I need?

A computer with an SD card reader (built in or USB), or an Android phone with the Breathing Room app and a card reader that plugs into it.

What do I choose when I upload?

Choose your whole SD card, or the folder that holds the data (the same help is under the pickers on the Upload page):

  • ResMed: the folder that contains Identification.json (or Identification.tgt), STR.edf and DATALOG.
  • Philips: the P-Series folder.
  • prisma: the folder with config.pscfg, or the Line export's therapy.pdat.
  • Resvent iBreeze: the THERAPY folder, or the whole card.
  • BMC / Luna G3: the folder holding the files named after the machine's serial: .USR, .idx, .evt and the .000 waveform files.

How to pick it. On a computer, in the dialog, click your SD card's drive on the left, then click Select Folder. On Android, Android's folder picker opens. Choose your card reader in its side menu and tap Use this folder. Breathing Room remembers it.

Which machines does it read?

Breathing Room reads ResMed SD cards (S9, AirSense 10 and 11, AirCurve 10 and 11, Lumis), with early support for Philips DreamStation 1 and 2, Löwenstein prisma (Smart, Soft and Line), Resvent iBreeze, and BMC Luna G3 (React Health).

My machine is not listed.

If you choose a card the Upload page recognises but cannot read yet, it tells you which kind of machine it looks like, and counts the attempt per manufacturer as a daily total that is not linked to you. If you would like your machine added, email us with the machine's name at support@breathingroom.io.

How often should I upload, and what about nights I already uploaded?

The card keeps many nights, so upload whenever you like. Unrelated files are ignored; only sessions you haven't uploaded yet are sent, along with your device settings.

How long does it take?

Your files are sent first, then read in the background. The Dashboard fills in as each night finishes.

Is my data private?

Uploaded files are encrypted at rest with a key unique to your account, and we do not sell your data. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

How do I reach a person?

Write to support@breathingroom.io. A person reads every message.

What should I include?

It helps to tell us:

  • Which machine you have.
  • What you tried.
  • The date of the night, if your question is about one.
  • If your machine has early support, how the first import went.
