Delete your Breathing Room account

This page is for anyone with a Breathing Room account, on breathingroom.io or in the Breathing Room Android app, published by BREATHINGROOM.IO LLC. You can delete your account yourself at any time; no request or waiting period is needed.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in at breathingroom.io or open the app.
  2. Open Settings, then the Account tab.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first.

If you cannot sign in, email support@breathingroom.io from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you. We answer within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account is disabled immediately and permanently deleted after a 14-day grace period, during which you can sign in and restore it. A subscription is cancelled immediately and cannot be restored. Everything in the account goes: your profile and sign-in methods, the data-card files you uploaded and everything parsed from them (sessions, events, statistics, waveforms, device settings), your journal, any sleep-tracker and oximeter data, your AI conversations and summaries, share links, and personal access tokens.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Consent records (which version of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, when, and the IP address and browser used) are kept as evidence of acceptance, identified only by an internal id.
  • Sign-in and security events, and billing webhook events, are kept for 365 days from when they happened, then deleted.
  • Stripe keeps its own records of any payments as the law requires.
  • Our database provider keeps point-in-time recovery copies for up to 30 days; they are used only to recover from a disaster affecting the whole service, never to restore a deleted account.

Delete some data without deleting the account

  • Nights before a date you choose: Settings, Data & devices, Older nights.
  • An imported oximeter recording: from the Dashboard, on the night it belongs to.
  • A connected sleep tracker or Google account: disconnect it in Settings.
  • A journal entry: delete it from the Journal page.

The Privacy Policy (sections 6 and 7) and the Terms of Service say the same in full. Back to sign in.
